CLCD Insider: Coming Soon, Unified Record Display!

CLCD member-subscribers are about to get a big upgrade, and we’re so excited, we couldn’t wait to tell you about it! There will be a lot of upgrades under the hood in the next few months, and these will dramatically improve the speed and reliability of the CLCD database. However, there is one new feature coming that will dramatically change the results you get with CLCD. In the near future, the CLCD database engine will intelligently merge multiple entries of the same title into one unified record, displaying all the information about that title together!

Peggy Fulton, librarian and CLCD awards editor, had this to say about the upcoming change:

I’m thrilled with the forthcoming merging of multiple entries for the same title into one presentation. So often in the past I’d have to view several records to see the totality of awards presented to one title. That’s now history. What a time saver! Another key benefit is the ability to see the cover art for all the editions gathered together in one scroll. I can hardly wait to see what’s next.
